Mary Lois Murrell, daughter of the late Everette Iva Decker and Gatha (Whitmire) Decker was born October 10, 1944, in Jonesboro, Arkansas and departed this life on November 17, 2023, at the age of 79 years, at St. John's Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Mary married Henry Carroll "Hank" Murrell on September 7, 1969. Henry preceded her in death June 3, 2005.

Survivors include:

Two Sons: Tim (Cynthia) Murrell of Steele, Mo.

Blaine (Laura) Murrell of Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Daughter: Kim Murrell of Rives, Mo.

Eight grandchildren: Michael (Kandi) Martin, Travis Hyten, Stephen Settlemire, Triniti (Cody) Kirk, Shelby (Johnny) Hodges, Luke Cannon, Corbin Murrell and Ty Bowling.

Five great grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren.

Brother: Paul (Betty) Decker of Kennett, Mo.

Other relatives and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her brother: William  Decker.

Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
