Mary Winifred "Wini" Hicks, daughter of the late  Earl J. Husband  and Iva I. (Gossage) Husband, was born November 9, 1937, in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on September 1, 2026 at the age of 88 years, 9 months and 23 days, at Manila Nursing Center in Manila, Arkansas. 

On June 5, 1955, in Kennett, Missouri, she married Bob L. Hicks, who preceded her in death on September 4, 2016.

She is survived by a daughter, Cassie Hicks Riley of Brighton, TN and a son Warren L. Hicks (Lisa) of Bartlett, TN. Also, surviving are five grandchildren: Josh Harmon (Brandi) of Manila, AR., Rachel Riley Sanders of Brighton, TN., Sara Riley of Deatsville, AL., Devin Hicks (Kara) of Simpsonville,Ky., & Katelyn Hicks Porcaro (Isabella) of Los Gatos, CA. and thirteen great-grandchildren:Taylor, Austin & Realynn Harmon of Manila, AR., Cameron Johnson, Jalen McInturff, & Michael Raithel of Deatsville, Al., Jordyn & Jon Sanders, Clinton & Cobey Johnson, Ariya Brown of Brighton, TN., Logan & Lincoln Hicks of Simpsonville, Ky., as well as two great-great granddaughter's, Laiklyn Johnson and Lennox Jones of Manila, AR. She is also survived by one brother: Earl Husband (Patti) of Odessa, TX. with a host of nieces and nephews and their spouses whom she dearly loved. Mrs. Hicks was also preceded in death by her parents, Earl & Iva Husband and Robert & Mora Lane; one grandson Marshall Owen Hicks and a great granddaughter, Brianna Nicole Johnson.

Serving as pallbearers are: Josh Harmon, Devin Hicks, Austin Harmon, Jalen McInturff, Jon Sanders, Clinton & Cobey Johnson.

Graveside Services and burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery at 11:00 AM on September 5, 2026.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the services.

Graveside Services will be 11:00 am Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett with Rev. Johnny Bogle officiating.
