Mary Sue Hazel, age 77 of Kennett, Missouri passed away March 17, 2023 at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau. Missouri.

Mary, daughter of the late Dewey Bradley and Mary (Petty) Bradley, was born May 28, 1945 in Kennett.

Mary married Johnny Joe Hazel February 17, 1963. Johnny preceded her in death November 21, 2005.

Mary loved her family and friends and doing things with her grandchildren. She loved her dogs (Samson and Clara) and loved traveling to see family. She enjoyed watching murder mysteries. She loved doing things for her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed cooking for the residents at National Health Care and loved to talk to the residents.

Survivors include:

Daughter: Deanna (Bruce) Sells of Jackson, Missouri;

Four grandchildren: Austin Sells and Alex Sells both of Jackson,

Jeff Blais and John Blais both of New Hampshire;

Great grandchild: Emily Blais of New Hampshire;

Two brothers: Jeff Frazee and Lee Frazee both of Kennett;

Sister: Carolyn Batchlor of Kennett;

Other relatives and many friends.

Mary Sue was preceded in death by her son: Shelby Joe Hazel, daughter: Mary Joe Blais, two brothers: Billy Bradley and Harold Dean Bradley and sister: Brenda Milburn.

Visitation will be 12:30 p.m.to 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2023 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at the McDaniel Chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jeff Blais, John Blais, Austin Sells, Alex Sells, Steven Clark and Scott Ferrell.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
