Mary Lee Crawford, daughter of the late Carl Estes Davis and Dessie Ford, was born May 6,1939, in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on December 17, 2025, at the age of 86 years, 7 months and 11 days.

Mary Lee served as the city tax collector in Kennett for many years.

Mary Lee was a member of First Baptist Church in Kennett.

Her husband: Don Crawford of Kennett

Two sons: Joe Bart (Paula) Carter  of Kennett

Carl Brett Carter (Tipp Fisher) of Macon, Georgia

Brothers: Donald Wayne (Mary) Davis

Nephew: Darin Wayne Davis

Niece: Brandy Davis Holligan (Damon)

Great niece: Mary Hannah Davis Tice (Seth)

Grandchildren:  Tyler Carter of Paragould, Arkansas and Katie Carter (Ronnie) Adaway of Kennett

Great grandchildren: Aiden Ty Carter, Hartlee Faye and Ollie Layne Adaway

Other relatives and many friends.

Mary Lee was preceded in death by her 1st husband of 46 years, Jerry Joe Carter; brother: Carlton Lee "Corky" Davis; nephew: Michael Lee Davis; and  sister-in-law: Judy Davis.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. January 5, 2026. Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m. at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Pastor Steven Scherer officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
