Martha Rene (Summitt) Sissom, daughter of the late James Euel Summitt and Essie Nell (Forrester) Summitt was born February 12, 1929 in Erin, Tennessee and departed this life on October 22, 2021 at the age of 92 years, 8 months and 10 days. Martha married Marshall Wayne Sissom who preceded her in death.

One daughter: Frances Rogers of Sikeston, Missouri

Two sons: Mark Wayne Sissom and wife Sandy of Bartlett, Tennessee

Jeffrey Euel Sissom and wife Linda of Bartlett, Tennessee

Three grandchildren: Sara Rogers of Memphis, Tennessee

William D. Rogers and wife Kellie of Matthews, Missouri

Joshua Euel Rush Sissom of Bartlett, Tennessee

Four great grandchildren: Grady Rogers, William S. Rogers, Charles Rogers and Lola Rogers

Other relatives and friends.

Martha was preceded in death by her brother: John Summitt.

Martha passed away October 22, 2021 at the New Madrid Living Center in New Madrid, Missouri. Martha was formerly of Cardwell, Missouri.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Missouri. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the arrangements.
