Marlin Ray Blansett, son of the late Carson D. Blansett and Ruth (Glasgow) Blansett was born March 27, 1938 in Cardwell, Missouri and departed this life on May 20, 2023 at the age of 85 years, 1 month and 23 days. Marlin married Aileen Swinney on September 4,1992 in Malden, Missouri. She preceded him in death February 20, 2015.

Marlin was of Kennett and passed away at St. Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Marlin was owner/operator of C & M Wheel Alignment in Kennett before retiring.

Kevin Blansett of Kennett;

Sister: Marilyn Kay Elders of Kennett

Two Step Daughters: Sandy (Greg) Morgan of Memphis,Tn.

Cheryl (Tony) Parrish of Eureka, Mo.

Six grandchildren: Carson Blansett, Amanda Blansett, Kara Burgin, Leandra Morgan, Marissa Morgan and Zachary Parrish.

Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Graveside Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Reverend Doug Clinton officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
