Mariedth Hamlett, daughter of the late Leslie Joe and Naomi (Simpson) Lahue was born December 28, 1941 in Providence, Arkansas and departed this life December 8, 2023 at the age of 81 years. Mariedth married Bill Hamlett July 1, 1963.

She is survived by:

Her husband: Bill Hamlett of Kennett, Missouri.

Two sons: Boyce (Penny) Hamlett of Kennett.

Keith Hamlett of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

One daughter: Melinda (Charles) Smith of Kennett.

Five grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 on the way.

Other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by one brother: Rodney Lahue and two sisters: Nadine Peridore and Gladine Tucker.

Visitation will be 10:30 AM-12:00 PM Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett. Services will be 12:00 PM Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Mr. Jay Lyles officiating. Burial in Memorial Gardens in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Chase Smith, Dusty Hamlett, Patrick Payne, Torey Tice, Scott Simpson and Mike Strother.
