George McGilvary Muse (Sonny) and Althea Juanita Williams married and had 12 children: Jay, Lucille, (Tacky) George (Jr.), Katherine, Marcella, Dorothy, Don (Buddy), Faye, Bob, Billy, Margaret and Jerry (The baby). 9 of the 12 lived to adulthood. Margaret was the last of the 12. It took 122 years for God to give and take them all. But the legacies they left behind are some of the most amazing people you will ever find.

Margaret was born September 27, 1941 in Kennett, Missouri, On October 2,1960, Margaret married Maurice Wallace at South Side Baptist Church in Kennett. Margaret  passed away August 8, 2023, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO.  Margaret was an active member of First Baptist Church in Kennett.

Her Husband: Maurice Wallace of Kennett

Two sons: Michael Maurice Wallace (Dee LyBrand)

Mark Muse Wallace and Terry Shaw

Five grandchildren: Holly Jo Engle, Hannah Michele Brasher, Cameron Blake Wallace, Declan Kyle Wallace and Zane Winston Wallace

Great grandchild: Eathan Hagan Brasher

Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2023 at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2023 at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Pastor Steven Scherer officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.

Family request Memorials be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund 300 St. Francis Street Kennett, Missouri.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
