Margaret Ann (Maggie) Montgomery was born to the late Cecil Orville Dunlap and Margaret Annabelle (Kelcey) Dunlap on September 14th 1957 in Detroit, Michigan and departed this life on July 11th 2026, at the age of 68 yrs.

 Maggie was an ER nurse at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett Mo. She also served with the Senath Fire Department as a first responder/nurse. Maggie was a caregiver at heart.

 She was also known for her cooking and canning abilities, as well as the ability to make new friends every place she went. If she happened upon a puppy, then she would find some way to take it home, where it would be spoiled asap. (just ask Oscar & Rocky). If perhaps you are someone whom Maggie befriended, no matter when or where, you are a better person for it.

 On August 24 2001, Maggie married Kent Montgomery and made their home in Senath, Mo., where he remains. She is also survived by two sons, Chris (Amy) Brawner and Dan (Jessica) Brawner, four grandchildren, Savannah, Sophie, Truman and Remy Brawner, Brother and Sister-in-law, Jamie and Donna Montgomery.  Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Margaret Dunlap, as well as her sister, Dorothy Dunlap. We will miss you, Maggie Montgomery. Thankfully this is not goodbye, just see you later…

Memorial Service  will be Saturday, July 25, 2:00 PM at the Senath Church of Christ with Mr. Jim Mauldin officiating. The visitation will begin at 1:00 PM at the church and continue until service time at 2:00.
