Lula Bell Pogue, daughter of the late Nathan Akridge and Neva (Waddle) Akridge, was born December 17, 1941 in Gideon, MIssouri and departed this life on May 24,2023 at the age of 81 years. Lula Bell married Floyd Pogue who preceded her in death in 1986. Later she married Pete "Carl" Hoggard who preceded her in death in 2008.

Survivors include:

Three daughters; Dee Allen of Elizabethtown, Pa.

Ann (Jeremy Peek of Chillicothe, Mo.

Margrette  Crawford of Piggott, Ar.

Eight grandchildren: Tommy Allen, Amanda Allen, Tyler Faus, Madison Peek, Sara Peek, Payton Peek, Joe Crawford and Garrick Crawford.

Ten great grandchildren;

One Sister: Billie (Charlie) Gage of Kennett, Mo

Two Brothers: Charles Akridge of West Plains,

Nathan (Ederlinda) of West Plains;

other relatives and friends.

Lula Bell was preceded in death by her sister: Dorothy St.Cin, grandchild: Caleb,  two sons-in-law: Tom Allen and Forrest Crawford.

Lula Bell was of Piggott, Arkansas and passed away at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott.

There are no services planned at this time.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
