Louie Lonnie Cordell, son of the late Walter Cordell and Emma (Cable) Talley was born November 15, 1930, in Kensett, Arkansas, and departed this life on July 14, 2021, at the age of 90 years. Louie married Betty Lou Guthrie on August 4, 1951 in Piggott, Arkansas.

His wife: Betty Lou Cordell of Rector, Arkansas

Two sons: Chuck (Sheila) Cordell of Olathe, Kansas

Mike (Lori) Cordell of Clinton Township, Michigan

One daughter: Christina (Zack) Parr of Kennett, Missouri

Nine grandchildren: Derick Cordell, Casey Cordell, Jillian Cordell, Jordan Cordell, Natalie Cordell, Garrett Cordell, Valerie Brock, Zack Parr III and Madison Parr.

Ten great-grandchildren

Louie was preceded in death by his daughter: Jaqueline  Cordell: one brother: Bill Cordell, and seven sisters.

Louie was a resident of Rector, Arkansas and served his country in the United States Army.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the Solid Rock Church in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the Solid Rock Church in Kennett, Missouri. Reverend's Dwaine Chapdelaine and Zack Parr officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector, Arkansas. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Nick Brock, Brad Green, Casey Cordell, Greg Green, Doyne Shelton and Travis Baker.
