Loretta Mae Dearing, daughter of the late George and Valaria (Snyder) Shepard was born June 3, 1921 in Kennett, Missouri and passed away December 22, 2021 at the age of 100 years. Loretta married Lenard Dearing. He proceeded her in death.

She is survived by:

One daughter: Velta Utterback of Kennett.

Two sisters: Betty Crawford of California, Willie Crone of California

Three grandchildren Wayne Worley of Kennett, Cheryl (Eddie) Hudson of Boonville, Missouri and Maurica Treat of Muskogee, Oklahoma, ten great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

Many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by an infant baby girl and a grandson: David Worley, two sisters and two brothers and her husband Lenard Dearing

Visitation will be 10:00 AM-12:00 PM Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett. Services will be held 12:00 PM Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Rev. Johnny Bogle officiating. Burial in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Grandsons are honored to serve as pallbearers.
