Loretta Maxine Baker, daughter of the late Henry Seabaugh and Cora Seabaugh, was born June 27, 1920, in Marble Hill, Missouri, and departed this life on July 13, 2022, at the age of 102 and 16 days. Loretta married James Franklin Baker January 2, 1943. James preceded her in death.

Survivors include:

Three daughters: Delores Poe of Kennett, Missouri;

Jane Baker Wills of Tallahassee, Florida; and

Rita Tackeberry of Kennett, Missouri.

Five grandchildren: Christie Bell, Debbie Petersen, Monica Kuretza, Tori Braun, and Jennifer Tackeberry.

Eleven great grandchildren: Blake, Amelia, Esther, Robert, Chloe, Emma, Alan, Kenneth, Braeden, Haley and Nina.

Other relatives and many friends.

Loretta was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

Loretta was of Kennett, Missouri, and was a long-time member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. Loretta passed away at Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2022, at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2022, at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Missouri with Reverend Jimmy Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri.   Family will serve as pallbearers.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri, will be in charge of the arrangements.
