Loreda "Reda" Joan Brister, daughter of the late Burl and Rhoda (Mills) Johnson was born December 14, 1937 and departed this life February 11, 2022 at the age of 84 years. Rita was married to Robert Brister. He preceded her in death January 8, 1990.

She is survived by:

Three sons: Dennis Pickard (Rita) of Kennett, Missouri.

Tony Scott Pickard of New Hampshire.

Michael Todd Pickard of Kennett.

Step-children: Carol Mitchell, Linda Hewerdine (Teddy), Robert Green (Jessie) (ex-wife Virgina Green), Larry Brister (Judy)

15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother: Bobby Johnson.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM-2:00 PM Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett with burial to follow. Reverend Chris Maynard officiating. Honored to serve as pallbearers:  Dennis Pickard, Bobby Green, Terry Clouse, Larry Brister, Derrick Barton and Dustin Clouse.
