Linda May Tabor, age 77 of Kennett, Missouri passed away March 23, 2023 in Kennett, Missouri.

Linda, daughter of the late Stanley Damesworth and Bonnie (Jackson) Damesworth was born January 23, 1946 in Gleason, Tennessee.

Linda married Bob Tabor May 22, 1971 in Hayti, Missouri. Linda was a school teacher before her retirement, she loved baking and was a member of The Bridge Church.

Survivors include:

Her husband: Bob Tabor of Kennett, Missouri;

Son: Brian (Leslie) Tabor of Jonesboro, Arkansas;

Daughter: Kristi Smith of Paragould;

Five grandchildren: Madison, Jacob, Caleb, Jakob and Savannah;

Brother: Larry (Dean) Damesworth of Gleason, Tennessee;

Three sisters: Edith Newson of Paris, Tennessee;

Judy Hammond and Debra Lock both of Dyersburg;

Other relatives and many friends;

Linda was preceded in death by five brothers: Grady, Petie, Eston, Tony and John Damesworth and two sisters: Rebecca Damesworth and Nancy Blevins.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral Services will be 12:00 noon Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the McDaniel Chapel. Reverend Wayland Tom officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Kelly Lock, Kerry Lock, Robert Blevins, Berry Jarred, Jason Bruce and Tommy Tansil.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
