With deepest sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Lillian Levi Anderson Bailey Morris, who passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, in Paragould, Arkansas, at the age of 78. Born on January 26, 1947, in Marion, Indiana, Lillian was the daughter of Levy Anderson Bailey and Addie Magdalene Smalley Bailey James. She was the devoted wife of Martin Adolph Morris, with whom she shared 58 loving years of marriage until his passing.
Lillian earned her associate degree from Three Rivers College and went on to work for many years as a school bus driver in Kennett and Clarkton. More than just a job, it was her calling, she found joy in being surrounded by children, serving as a mentor and counselor, and creating a positive impact on countless young lives. Lillian was a woman of many talents and a heart full of love. She enjoyed nature. traveling, and spending time with her family. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. To her friends and family, Lillian was known for her kind and generous spirit. She always looked out for others, whether people or animals, and had a way of making the unloved feel loved. Through organ donation, she continues to touch lives even after her passing. She was beautiful inside and out, and her family was her greatest treasure. She spent her life nurturing and supporting her loved ones with unwavering devotion.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, Levy and Addie, her seven siblings, and her beloved husband, Martin.
She is survived by her four daughters: Rebecca Jane Morris Staggs, Patricia Jean Morris Robles, Melissa June Morris Morgan, and Cynthia Jo Morris Castro, as well as eleven grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren
Lillian will be remembered for her boundless love and joy she brought into the lives of those around her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and all those had the privilege of knowing her.
Visitation will be12:00 noon to 1:00 pm Friday, April 18, 2025 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Friday, April 18, 2025 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Reverend Ron Lovins officiating. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Justin, Brandon, John Cook, Kenny Smitty and Jon Henfling. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.
McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
