Leorah Robirda Wease, daughter of the late Winslow Gilliam and Osa (Weller) Gilliam was born November 15, 1933 in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on February 24, 2021 at  the age of 87 years, 3 months and 9 days.

Survivors include:

Son: Shelby Gatewood of Poplar Bluff, Missouri

Daughters: Sharon (Wayne) Nixon of Kennett, Missouri

Sheila (Rick) Tucker of Kennett, Missouri

Donnetta (Deron) Pollard of Piggott, Arkansas

Samantha (Rodney) Pitts of Kennett, Missouri

One sister: Juanita Bennett of Senath, Missouri

Twelve grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren

Other relatives and many friends.

Leorah was preceded in death by her son: Anthony Hill, grandson: Jerry Don Nixon, son-in-law: Wayne Nixon, seven brothers: Oliver, Al, W.M., Buddy, Earl, J.L. and R.L. and six sisters: Billie, Lorrettia, Rosa, Sue, Barb and Little sister.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday, February 26, 2021 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, February 26,2021 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Missouri. Reverend's Tommy Hodges and Chad Howard officiating. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Gary French, Leonard Nixon, William Pitts, Randy Howard, Justin Cunningham and Ethan Tansil. Honorary pallbearers: James Tucker, Rodney Pitts, Chris Tucker, Rick Tucker and Deron Pollard. Burial will follow in Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the arrangements.
