Lavera Maxine Quick, daughter of the late Marion Watts and Louise (Reed) Watts was born September 26, 1957 in Paxton, Illinois and departed this life on February 25, 2023 at the age of 65 years. Lavera married Bobby Quick on April 4, 1973. Bobby preceded her in death September 1, 1991.

Survivors include:

Two daughters; Freeda Atchley of Wappapello, Missouri;

Regina Rasberry of Portageville, Missouri;

Three brothers: Jenner Watts, Bennie Watts and Terry Watts;

Sister:  Cheri Quick;

Five grandchildren: Billy Rasberry, Jamie Rasberry, Tyler Rasberry, Jason Quick and Michael Atchley;

Five great grandchildren: Abbygail Rasberry, Travis Quick, Amelia Atchley, Julia Atchley and Watt Atchley;

Other relatives and friends.

Lavera was of Kennett, Missouri and passed away at Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the McDaniel Chapel.  Reverend Dale Holman officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the arrangements.
