Lavada Betty (Hayes) Ridings, daughter of the late James Hayes and Clara (Elder) Hayes was born April 12, 1932 in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on April 9, 2021 at the age of 88 years, 11 months and 28 days.

Survivors include:

Two sons: Leon Ridings of Denton, North Carolina

Wayne Ridings of Smyrna, Tennessee

Eight grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren

Lavada was preceded in death by her son: Dale Ridings, six brothers and five sisters.

Lavada was of Jackson, Missouri and passed away at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Fruitland, Missouri

Graveside Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, April 16, 2021 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri. Mr. Mark Shelton officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the arrangements.
