Larry Joe Norman, son of the late Eldon Norman and Mary (Jones) Norman, was born August 15,1947, in Bragg City, Missouri and departed this life on March 25, 2025, at the age of 77 years, 7 months and 10 days, at Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Larry married Peggy Luna on March 23, 1968, Larry served his country in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969.

Survivors include:

His wife: Peggy  Norman of Pascola, Missouri

Daughter: Penny (Greg) Mayo of Medina, Tennessee

Two grandchildren: Andrew Mayo and Mallory Mayo

Sister: Carolyn Carnell of Kennett, Missouri

Other relatives and many friends

Larry was preceded in death by two brothers: John and Jearl Norman

Larry was a member of Wardell Baptist Church.

Visitation will be 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2025 at the McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett, Missouri.  Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday March 28, 2025 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Reverend Griff Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.  Honored to serve as pallbearers: Ty Hendershot, Andrew Mayo, Tim Moore, Tommy Norman, Paul Sheckell and  Odie Wake.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
