Larry Olan Gibson, son of the late Faber and Lena (Cullum) Gibson was born October 31, 1941 in Piggott, Arkansas and departed this life December 1, 2025 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Larry married Jane Wrather on December 28, 2000 in Piggott.

He is survived by:

His wife: Jane Gibson of Kennett, Missouri.

Two sons: Brandon Gibson of St. Louis, Missouri.

Josh Gibson of Kennett.

Two daughters: Lisa Pitts Gibson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Christina Brown of Poplar Bluff.

Step-daughter: Amy Mitchell of Birmingham, Al

Step-daughter: Michelle McMullan of Kennett.

One brother: Jerry Gibson of Piggott.

Fifteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by a son: Mark Gibson, brother: Lelan Gibson and a sister: Faye Causey.

Larry was a car salesman for over 50+ years. He was owner of Gibson's Auto Sales and Quick Lube in Kennett.

Graveside memorial services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett with Rev. Johnny Bogle officiating.
