Kathryn Brandon Sprouse, age 91, of Holcomb, Missouri, formerly of Bragg City, passed away September 28, 2023, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Kathryn was born March 9, 1932 in Sikeston, Missouri to the late Tom Christopher Brandon and Cora Lee (Brice) Brandon.

Kathryn married Alford Henry Sprouse on September 15, 1951 in Piggott, Arkansas. Alford preceded her in death August 28, 2009.

Survivors include:

Two sons: Gary (Kim) Sprouse of Campbell, Missouri

Lloyd Sprouse of Richmond, Texas

Two sisters: Rosale Owen of Kennett

Mollie Groves of Deering, Missouri

Six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren

Other relatives and friends.

Kathryn was preceded by two sons: Steve and Stan Sprouse, three brothers: Buddy, Dempsey and Tommy Brandon and four sisters: Lois Tucker, Lorene Dunaway, Luella Wilson and Jewell Brown.

Visitation will be 11:00 am to 12 noon, Monday, October 2, 2023 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral Services will be 12:00 pm Monday at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Mr. James Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Randy Masterson, Dennis Owen, George Simmons, Danny Brandon, Ryan Willett and Gary Sprouse, Jr.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
