Karen Karnes, daughter of the late Pete Brotherton and Brenda Kennedy Brotherton, was born May 16, 1965, in Kennett, Missouri and passed away Thursday, January 04, 2024, at her residence in Senath at the age of 58 years.

She married Dickie Don Karnes July 02, 2000, in Senath, MO

Survivors include:

Her husband:  Dickie Don Karnes of Senath

Her mother:  Brenda Brotherton of Senath

Two sons:  Bryan (Tasha) Brotherton of Senath

Utah (Brandie) Henson of Senath

Three sisters:  Tammy Mock, Teresa Salas, and Christie Flores

Two grandchildren:  Ariel and Jaxon

Karen's funeral will be Monday, January 08, 12:00 noon at the Church of Christ in Senath with Mr. Jim Mauldin officiating.  Burial will follow in the Senath Cemetery.

The visitation will begin at 10:30 and continue until service time at the Church of Christ.
