John Keith Churchwell, departed this life in Kennett, on April 30, 2024 at the age of 67 years, 8 months and 11 days. He was born at Presnell Hospital on August 19, 1956 to the late Preston and Tresa (Williams) Churchwell.

He has one surviving sister: Tammy Churchwell of Kennett, Mo.

John loved to travel, especially to the beach. He also loved animals and loved to work in the yard.

John did volunteer work at the Dunklin County Juvenile office where he later became the Juvenile officer for many years, he also worked at the Public Defender's office in Kennett.

There are no services planned at this time.

Family request that donations be made to Kennett Human Department, as John was such an animal lover.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
