Joel Smith, son of the late George Washington Smith and Ruth Elizabeth (Crawford) Smith was born March 25, 1954 in Burke City, Missouri and departed this life on April 25, 2022 at the age of 68 years and one month. Joel married Theresa Sebastian May 11, 1984 in Hillsboro, Missouri.

Four grandchildren: Jon, Josh, Jessie and Jacob

Brother: Donald Smith of Cabool, Missouri

Sister: Dixie Reynolds of DeSoto, Missouri

Joel was preceded in death by two brothers: Jim Darrell and a stillborn twin.

Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the First United Pentecostal Church in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. at the First United Pentecostal Church in Kennett, Missouri. Reverend Don Sheerin officiating.
