Joe Mel Hinesly, son of the late Billy Joe Hinesly and Mary Lou (Wilkins) Hinesly, was born July 23,1950 in Paragould, Arkansas and departed this life on March 2, 2024, at the age of 73 years, 7 months and 8 days. Joe married Carol Lea Mattson on  August 31, 1976. Carol preceded him in death December 11, 2023.

Joe proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Survivors include:

Two sons: Todd (Shelly) England of Argyle, Ia

Kermit "KC" (Glenda) England of Beach Corner, Mo.

Daughter: Jody (Donald) Cogburn of Hornersville, Mo.

Six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren

Sister: Anita Jane (Jim) Gamble of Columbia, Mo

other relatives and many friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his sister: Linda Brewington.

Visitation will be 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.  Memorial Services will be 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Reverend  Paul Moore officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
