JoAnn Brown, daughter of the late Clarence Eakins and Rachel Wood Eakins, was born May 22, 1941 in Rives, Missouri. She passed away January 15, 2022 at the age of 80 years, 7 months and 24 days.

Steven (Beverly) Mitchell of Easton, Maryland

David (Gretta) Mitchell of Kennett, Missouri

One brother: Buddy (Sue) Eakins of Hillsboro, Missouri

7 Grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her daughter: Kathy Jo Faught, a granddaughter, a great grandson, a daughter-in-law and her sister Mabell Smith.

Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Johnny Bogle officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Steven Mitchell, David Mitchell, Joey Snider, Jerry Risner, Buddy Eakins and James Lemons, Jr.
