Obituary

Jessie Small, son of the late Ollie Homer Small and Leyla (Woods) Small was born November 12, 1923, in Senath, Missouri and passed away December 30, 2020 at his residence in Senath at the age of 97 years.

Mr. Small was a Navy veteran, having served his country during WWII.

He was a wheat harvester known all over the country, and a member of the Senath Church of Christ. He was a  loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He was married to Sue McFall who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his two sons:

Byron Small and wife Pam, of Senath, Missouri

Joe Small and wife, Linda of Englewood, Florida

One brother: Bill Small of North Carolina

Four Grandchildren: Landon and (Katie) Small,  Luke and (Colleen) Small, Jodi Felker, and Allen Small.

Eight Great-grandchildren: Jas Small, Carson Small, Harvey Small, Piper Small, Coraline  Felker, Lennon Felker, Connor Small and Nolan Small

Also survived by his wife, Evelyn Small, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica "Susie" Small , and four brothers, Kenny Small, Ross Small, Pete Small and Homer Small, and a sister, June Harris.

The funeral will be Saturday, 11:00 A.M. with full military honors after  the service at the Church of Christ with a special tribute transportation by John Deere combine to the cemetery. Mr. Jim Mauldin will be officiating at the service.  Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri

The visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. and continue until service time at 11:00 A.M.

Pallbearers will be: Allen Small, Landon Small, Luke Small, Jas Small, Carson Small, Harvey Small, Lennon Felker, Connor Small and Nolan Small.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Senath Church of Christ., P.O. Box 173, Senath, Missouri 63876.

The funeral will be broadcast live stream on the Senath Church of Christ Facebook page for those who cannot attend.

Due to the Corona Virus, please practice social distancing, and masks are optional.
