​Jennifer Leigh (Yount) McCormick, loving daughter of Denise Dale (Goodman) Yount & Samuel Austin Yount, was born on October 21, 1972, in Kennett, Missouri. Jennifer passed away peacefully and surrounded by family, early January 23, 2026, at the age of 53, in Kennett, Missouri. She was a Child of God and a member of Kennett First Baptist Church.

Jennifer was a 1991 graduate of Kennett High School and attended college at Arkansas State University, as well as Southeast Missouri State University, in pursuit of a degree in Exercise Science. After discovering her passion for yoga, she received her 200 Hour Yoga Instructor certification and opened her own hot yoga studio, Liv Yoga.

Jennifer's passions included yoga, health, fitness, aerobics, taekwondo, horseback riding, and traveling.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Austin Yount, her grandparents, Arvit & Bille Goodman, Robert & Mae Pearl Yount, and her uncles, Richard Yount and Arvit Stanley Goodman.

Honored to be pall bearers will be Zachery Beaird, Nathan Fowler, Keith Riggs, Bill Hoffmann, Gavin Airsman, and Tyler Rushing.

Visitation will be 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the services.
