Jenita C. Lancaster, 63, of Puxico, Missouri received her wings May 19, 2025, at her home. She was the daughter of the late Johnny Lancaster and the late Carolyn Jackson.

Jenita was the happiest person and blessed everyone who knew her.

She graduated from Oak Grove special education classes in 1983 and was a 20 year participant at the Dunklin Day Activity center.  She had many friends and educators there.  She also participated in the Special Olympics and received many medals and 1st place ribbons in the events of 50 yard dash and the softball throw.  She enjoyed watching Bluey and Garfield among other cartoons.

She is survived by three sisters:  Sherri Lancaster, Gayla Lancaster-Wright (Jimmy-Wright), and Crystal Lancaster-Saylors, Two nieces and three nephews:  Tyler Summers, Carissa Montes, Brielle Wilson, Wyatt Saylor, and Levi Saylor, two great nieces:  Selah and Moriah Montes:  two aunts: Rita Kasey and Holly Jackson, and numerous family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Katrina Lancaster-Franklin, her parents, grandparents, and other family and friends.

Her funeral will be Wednesday, May 21, 2025, 3:00 PM  at the McDaniel Chapel in Senath with Rev. Doug Clinton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lulu Cemetery.

The visitation will begin at 2:00 and continue until service time.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Senath will be in charge of the arrangements.
