James Eugene Walker, son of the late John Richard Walker and Zena "May" (James) Walker was born July 31, 1939 in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on December 28, 2023 at the age of 84 years, 4 months and 28 days. James married Florine Joann  Drowns who preceded him in death on November 8, 2011. On December 14, 2013 James married Escolasticia. Iglesias

James was of Kennett and passed away at  Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett. James was a former bus driver.

Son: James Walker Jr. and wife Kimberly of Kansas City

Daughters: Nancy Copeland and husband Randy of Blytheville, Ar

Christine Walker of North Carolina

Stepson: Bill Marquez and wife Gloria of Italy

Stepdaughters: Rose Ray and husband Randy of Kennett

Paula Marquez of Kennett

Sister: Goldie Kirkpatrick of Corinth, Tn

Seven grandchildren, Thirteen great grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and one step-great grandchild

other relatives and friends.

James was preceded in death by his brother: BIll "JR" Walker and sisters: Mary Barnett, Lucille Jackson and Dollie Ford

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the Cross  Way Church  1840 Independence Cr in .Kennett, Mo. Funeral Services will be at 12:00 noon at the Cross Way Church. Daniel and Franny Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett
