James Ralph Shelton, son of the late Johnny Shelton and Iva Mae (Goodman) Shelton, was born February 23,1942, in Jonesboro, Arkansas and departed this life on December 19, 2022 at the age of 80 years, 9 months and 26 days. James married Recetta Ann Helton who preceded  him in death.

Survivors include:

His Daughter: Patricia Sitz of Seymore, Missouri;

Brother: Ricky (Tina) Shelton of Fairdealing, Missouri;

Girl Friend: Karla Strong of Piggott, Arkansas;

other relatives and many friends.

James was preceded by several brothers and sisters.

James was of Kennett and was owner/operator of the Shell Service Station in Kennett.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m  Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Graveside Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Reverend Johnny Bogle officiating.  Family will serve as pallbearers.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of arrangements.
