James Edward Norman, son of the late Charles Norman and Eunice (McGee) Norman, was born May 26, 1944, in Bragg City, Missouri and departed this life on March 27, 2024, at the age of 79 years 10 months and 1 day. James was of Kennett and passed away at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti.

James married Patricia Bradshaw on January 18, 1964 in Bragg City, Mo.

Survivors include:

His wife: Patricia Norman of Kennett, Mo.

Son: James (Robin) Norman, Jr. of Paragould, Ar.

Two grandchildren: Michael Kohfeldt and Bradley Norman

Two great grandchildren: Ayden Norman and Ryker Kohfeldt

Other relatives and many friends.

James was preceded in death by two brothers: Clarence Norman and Billy Norman and three sisters: Anna Mae Carter, Mary Staggs and Bonnie Sue Norman.

Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Reverend Doug Clinton officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
