Jackie Hughes 81, of Kennett died April 2, 2021 at National Health Care in Kennett. Jackie was born to the late Alva Lee and Mary Gertrude (Sutton) Hughes on September 4, 1939 in Kennett, Missouri. Jackie married Janice Carol Wilson May 11, 1956 in Kennett, Missouri. Janice departed this life on April 12, 2012.

Jennifer Leigh (Joe) Hicks of Kennett, Missouri

One Brother: Alva "Dude" Hughes of Holcomb, Missouri

Four Grandchildren: Jared Lynn Hughes, Jeremy Blake (Brook) Hughes, Hunter Crittendon and Kortney Hicks

Five Great Grandchildren: Hudson Blake Hughes, Gracie Belle Hughes, Layton Grace Hughes, Lincoln Grey Hughes and Sophie Jane Hughes

Jackie is preceded in death by his brothers Frank, Bob, Homer, Dennis and Jim, and one sister Betty Fort.

Services will be 2 PM Monday, April 5 in the McDaniel Chapel with Reverend Jim Davis officiating, burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will begin Monday at 12 PM and will go until service time.
