Howard Ray Bailey, son of the late Norma Pinkston  Watson and second parents: Dainta Clevenger and the late Bill Clevenger, was born February 27, 1962,in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on February 26, 2025, at Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 62 years, 11 months and 30 days.

Howard married Gene Clevenger on July 10, 1982 in Kennett

Sons: Jeffery (Alley) Bailey of Hornersville

Bradley (Chelsea) Bailey of Hornnersville

Scotty Bailey of Hornersville

Sister: Mary Sue Strickland of Kennett

Grandchildren: Bethany Covington, Jessica Holt, Janette Holt, Tony Taylor, Tristen Bailey, Dalton Bailey, Bryson Bailey, Preston Bailey, Bella Bailey, Alana Fritzal, Jalaiya Bailey, Bentley Bailey, Parker Coleman and Jena Dogan

Great grandchildren: Christopher Covington, Oliver Covington and Olivia Covington

Howard was preceded in death by his  son: Christopher Ray Holt and brother: David Thomas Wilson

Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Saturday,  March 1, 2025 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Celebration of Life will be 6:00 pm at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Alex Palmer officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
