Henry "Hank" Markham,  son of the late Roy and Betty Nelson Markham, was born May 26, 1960, in Michigan and passed away April 24, 2026, at NHC in Kennett at the age of 65 years.

He was married to Elizabeth.  She preceded him in death September 23, 2012.  

Hank is survived by a brother, Richard Hespel, and many other relatives and friends.

Hank had a love for sports and people that he met.  He loved Michigan Football and the Chicago Cubs.  He also loved to keep up with the St. Louis Cardinals.  He was always interested in the World Series, and when the Cubs won the  World Series in 2016, it was a Historic ending a 108 year drought, the longest in American Sports History.  He always wore a Cubs cap and was so proud of that.  Hank was always seen at any Senath-Hornersville games.  He was always wanting a schedule of all the games of any sport and his laugh was one of a kind.

All the people that knew him will always cherish those memories of Hank in their own way.  He will be missed.

Hank's funeral will be Wednesday, April 29, 11:00 AM at the McDaniel Chapel in Senath with Rev. Doug Clinton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Senath Cemetery. The visitation will be Wednesday, April 29, 10:00 AM at the McDaniel Chapel in Senath and continue until service time at 11:00 AM.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Senath will be  in charge of the arrangements.
