Helen Olive McDaniel, daughter of the late Harold and Laura (Monroe) Winterholder, was born June 7, 1929, in Flint, Michigan and departed this life March 17, 2026, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville, Arkansas at the age of 96 years, 9 months, and 10 days. Helen married Leon McDaniel, July 20, 1945, in Piggott, Arkansas.
She is survived by:
One son: Harold (Pamela) McDaniel of Deering, Missouri
Two daughters: Carolyn Lee Jo-Vel Edleston and
Tonda (Keith) Martin of Rives, Missouri.
Sister: Mary
Eleven grandchildren: Emma (Matt) Fox of O'Fallon, Missouri
Shaun McDaniel of Independence, Missouri
Andrew McDaniel of Deering, Missouri
Carl (Christy) McDaniel of Senath, Missouri

Other relatives and many friends.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents: Harold and Laura (Monroe) Winterholder, her husband: Leon McDaniel, her son- Dennis, granddaughter-Denise, great-granddaughter- Gabrielle, two brothers, and two sisters.
Visitation will be 11:00 to 12:00 noon Saturday, March 21, 2026 at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett Funeral Services will be 12:00 noon at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Pastor Jerry Carnett officiating. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Terry Hicks, Michael Grills, Mark Trainer, Braden Trainer, Ricky Trainer and Allen Dicus. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.
McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
