Hazel Louella Callahan, daughter of the late Elza Hufford and Louveda (Gough) Hufford was born May 14, 1931 in Senath, Missouri and departed this life on April 19, 2021 at the age of 89 years, 11 months and 5 days.

Survivors include:

Two sons: Marvin (Robin) Callahan of Wappapello, Missouri

Johnny (Vickie) Callahan of Sikeston, Missouri

One daughter: Loretta (Mark) Goddard of Kennett, Missouri

Daughter-in-law: Myra Callahan of St. Louis, Missouri

Eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren

One sister: Bernice Guy of Sisston, South Dakota

Other relatives and many friends

Lou was preceded in death by her son: Eddie Callahan, ten brothers, two sisters, grandson: Scotty Jones and great-granddaughter: Heather Benson.

Visitation will be 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Missouri. Reverend Jim Davis officiating. Burial will follow in McGrew Cemetery in Senath, Missouri. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Chris Lyell, Logan Callahan, Somer Callahan, Dusti Jones, Tristan Jones and Jerad Callahan.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the arrangements.
