G.W. "Bud" Brooks, son of the late Arch William and Dona (Walker) Brooks was born April 23, 1932 and departed this life January 23, 2022 at the age of 89 years. Bud married Myrtle Sledge August 9, 1951 in Piggott, Arkansas.

He is survived by:

His wife: Myrtle Brooks of Senath.

Two sons: Mike (Lisa) Brooks

Steve Brooks

Two grandchildren: Sean Brooks

Forrest Brooks

Four great-children: Hailee, Lathan, Ariana and Tyler.

Other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: V.J and Ray Brooks and two sisters: Opal Rich and Rose Ellis.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 Am Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Senath with Rev. Doug Clinton and Rev. Chris Hicks officiating.
