Glenda Sue Long, daughter of the late Arville McClain and Rosie Mae (Ward) McClain, was born May 4, 1951, in Deering, Missouri and departed this life on September 10, 2026  in Kennett, Missouri, at the age of 75 years, 4 months and 6 days.  Glenda was a homemaker.

 Survivors include:

Son: Brian Long of Kennett, Missouri

Daughter: Mary Long of Kennett, Missouri

Two brothers Larry McClain and Darrell McClain both of  Kokomo, Indiana

Sister: Claria Fletcher of Kokomo, Indiana

Glenda was the  youngest of eleven boys and girls.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 P.M. Monday, September 14. 2026 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday at the McDaniel Chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Larry McClain officiating. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Richie Leeker, Derrick Burkhalter, Justin Burkhalter, James Crew, Jason McClain and Chris Martin.

McDaniel Funeral service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
