Gerald William Crites, son of the late Herman Crites and Pearl (Tucker) Crites was born September 27, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on May 18, 2021 at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 21 days. Gerald married Margie Lane on May 28, 1963 in Senath, Missouri.

Two grandchildren: Jay (Alexandria) Edgington of Jonesboro, Arkansas

Tom Edgington of Kennett, Missouri

Sister: Pat (Jim) Marchbanks of Kennett, Missouri

Other relatives and many friends.

Gerald was of Kennett, Missouri and served his country in the United States Navy.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday, May 20, 2021 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday,  May 20, 2021 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Missouri. Reverend Chris Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Tom Edgington, Jay Edgington, Brandon Lane, Scott Marchbanks, Monti Winkle and Isaac Hampton.
