George Ralph Archer, son of the late Ira C. Archer and Ottaleane (Siler) Archer, was born December 22,1941, in Stoddard, Missouri and departed this life on August 30, 2022, at the age of 80 years. George married Mary Burks April 27, 1962.

His wife: Mary Archer of Kennett, Missouri

Two sons: Mike (Paula) Archer of Medina, Tennessee

Greg (Jajuan) Archer of Bryant, Arkansas

Brother: Finis Archer of South Carolina

Five grandchildren: Erik, Nick, Erica, Ian and Adam

Five great grandchildren: Eleanor, Elliot, Ryan, Reece George and Liam.

George was preceded in death by his son: Eric Scott Archer, three brothers: Charles L. Archer, Raymond Ira and Carroll Drue and five sisters: Amy Ruth. Dora Ottolean, Mary Nell, Ophelia and Jewell Faye.

George was of Kennett, Missouri and passed away August 30, 2022 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. George was a member of Slicer Street Church of Christ in Kennett, Missouri. George was a Driver Examiner for the Missouri State Highway Patrol for over 30 years.

Visitation will be 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 4, 2022 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 4, 2022 at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Mr. Jay Lyles officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Erik Archer, Nick Archer, Ian Archer, Adam Archer, Mike Archer and Greg Archer.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the arrangements.
