George Wayne Allen, son of the late Elbert E. Allen and Minnie (Jackson) Allen was born April 4, 1937 in Steele, Missouri and departed this life on December 6, 2020 at the age of 83 years. George married Gracie Graves on November 13, 1958 in Rives, Missouri. Gracie preceded him in death.

Survivors include:

One Son: Royce (Debra) Allen of Kennett, Missouri

One Daughter: Michelle (Klaven) Embertson of Plover, Wisconsin

Two brothers: Dallas Allen of Kennett, Missouri

Larry Allen of Poplar Bluff, Missouri

Four grandchildren: Chris (Natalie) Allen, Matt (Deborah) Allen, Skyler and Katie Embertson

Five great grandchildren

Other relatives and many friends.

George was preceded in death by his brother: Jack Allen, and two sisters: Polly Nilan and Zell Grady.

Visitation will be 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Missouri. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri. Reverend William Copeland officiating. Honored to serve as pallbearers; Matt Allen, Blake Swindle, Skyler Embertson, Terry Alley, Caleb Alley and Mark Graves.
