Gaylon Darrell Williams, age 82, of Senath, Missouri, passed away at his residence April 5, 2023 in Senath.

Gaylon was born January 17, 1941, in Senath to the late Bert Williams and Myrtle (Warf) Williams. Gaylon married Beverly Brock on October 25, 1963, in Memphis, Tennessee. Beverly preceded him in death October 6, 2018.

Gaylon was a Southern Baptist minister and ministered to many people, young and old during his life, never meeting a stranger. He enjoyed going to flea markets, auctions, metal detecting and fishing. Another enjoyment he had was driving his Mustang every chance he got and especially in the Delta Fair parade.

Gaylon loved his kids and grandkids very much.

Survivors include:

Son: Sean (Rebekah) Williams of Paragould, Arkansas;

Two daughters: Gayla (Lee) Hyde of Kennett and Dawnna (Tim) Cater of Manila;

Five grandchildren: Callie, Allyson, Carsen, Cade and Zalie;

A very special friend: Patsy "Patty" Francis;

Other relatives and many friends.

Gaylon was preceded in death by his brother: Gary Williams and two sisters: Dorothea Hentges and Garcia Casey.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Burial will follow in Senath Cemetery in Senath.  Reverend's Eddie Hawkins and Lee Hyde will be officiating. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Marc Williams, Matt Williams, Justin Williams, Garrett Williams, Chad Casey, Charley Casey, Carsen Hyde and Cade Cater. Honorary pallbearers: Bryan Lell, Kevin Davidson, Noah Davidson, Larry Landers, Fred Greathouse and Byan Carmack.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
