Gary Dale Hartwell, son of Rosie Bolton Hartwell  and the late Bryne Hartwell, was born December 13, 1956, in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on  August 20, 2026 at St. Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Gary was preceded in death by his father: Bryne Hartwell, brother: Bryne Dewayne Hartwell, grandfather: Ezra Hartwell, grandmother: Lydia Norman Hartwell, maternal grandfather: Kenneth K. Bolton, maternal step grandfather: William Haney, maternal grandmother: Mamie Lee Connell Haney.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM -2:00 PM Sunday, August 23,  2026 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, at the McDaniel Chapel  with Pastor Anthony Dody officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Tim Elgin, Steve Parker, Anthony Page, Aaron Page, Jeremy Yates and Dylan Yates.

McDaniel Funeral  Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
