Obituary

Floyd Coffer, son of the late Johnnie James and Lillie Mae (Brand) Coffer was born March 5, 1935 in Danville, Arkansas and departed this life December 10, 2022 at the age of 87 years. Floyd married Laura Franklin. She preceded him in death October 30, 2021.

He is survived by:

Four sons: David (Lisa) Coffer of Kennett, Missouri.

Steven (Dana) Coffer of Kennett.

Brian (Brandi) Coffer of Kennett.

Larry Neal of Kennett.

One daughter: Kelly Garner of Kennett.

One brother: Jimmy (Evelyn) Coffer of North Little Rock, Arkansas.

One Sister: Para Lea White of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by one daughter: Patricia Neal, son-in-law: David Garner, grandson: John Coffer and great-granddaughter: Makayla Coffer. Two brothers: G.H. and Bob Coffer and two sisters: Betty Austin and Charlene Soloman.

Floyd was a member of Slicer Street Church of Christ where he served as a deacon.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM-1:00 PM Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett. Burial in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Grandsons are honored to serve as pallbearers.

Services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett.

Memorials may be made to: St. Jude's Children Hospital or Children's Home Inc., Paragould, Arkansas.
