Obituary

Everett  Raymon  Marchbanks, son of the late James Freddie Marchbanks and Nilie (Lowe) Marchbanks, was born September 20, 1928, in the Silverdale Community of Arbyrd, Missouri and departed this life on October 10, 2024 at the age of 96 years and 20 days. Everett married Elma Jean Cullum Marchbanks on October 19, 1946. Elma Jean preceded Everett in death January 19, 1920.

Survivors include: Three Sons: Jimmy (Patricia) Marchbanks of Kennett, Mo

Gary (June) Marchbanks of Kennett

Keith Marchbanks of Hayti

Three daughters: Debbie (Bill) Inman of Bragg City

Rhonda (Mark) Chatham of Pearland, Tx

Shawna (Alvin) Tyler of Webster, Tx

Nine grandchildren: Tammie Ridings of Piedmont, Mo., Angela (Todd) Salzman of Herman, Mo., Scotty (Vanessa) Marchbanks of Kennett, Mo., Aaron (Kelley) Marchbanks of Cedar Rapids, Iowa,  Dana (Jeremy) Potts of Kennett, Mo., David (Lee Ann) Inman of Hayti, Mo., Eli (Beth) Marchbanks of Columbia, Mo., Brittney (Dustin) Dexter of Spring, Tx. and Morgan (Jordan) Bunch of Pearland, Tx.

19 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren

A host of many relatives and friends.

Everett was preceded in death by four brothers: James, Charles, Harvey and Curtis Marchbanks and four sisters: Helen Christy, Maxine Garrett, Margie Allred and Louise Waller.

Everett was a member of Bragg City First Baptist Church, Lions Club Charter member and Boy Scott leader troop 87.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 15, 2024 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at the McDaniel Chapel with Reverend's Kevin Carter, Johnny Bogle and  Ron Wilcoxson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Scotty Marchbanks, David Inman, Eli Marchbanks, Ethan Marchbanks, Noah Marchbanks,  Karsen Marchbanks and Aaron Marchbanks. Honorary pallbearers: Spencer Potts, Dylan Potts, Jeremy Potts, Jordan Potts and Jackson Lannie.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
