Eugene Franklin Guthrie, 90 of Kennett, died Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in Kennett. Gene was born to Theophles Franklin Guthrie and Lela Mae Guthrie March 14, 1933 in White Oak, Arkansas. Gene served His country in the United States Army and also worked as a painter. Gene married Wanda (Tidmore) Anderton June 5, 1993 in Kennett, Missouri.

Gene is survived by his wife Wanda Guthrie of the home.

One Daughter: Laranda (Josh) Gattis of Kennett, Missouri

Brooklyn Guthrie of Kansas City, Missouri

Bella Guthrie of Kansas City, Missouri

One great grandchild: Tatum Finnell of Kansas City, Missouri

Gene is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Shelia Skelton, five brothers and eight sisters.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2023 with Funeral Services to follow at 12:00 p.m. at the McDaniel Chapel with Reverend Johnny Bogle officiating, burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
