Elizabeth Ann "Libby" Dennis, daughter of the late Murell Akers and Beulah (Wright) Akers, was born October 10, 1942 in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on February 4, 2021 at the age of 78 years. Libby married Paul Dennis on June 9, 1975 in Kennett, Missouri.

Survivors include:

Her husband: Paul Dennis of Kennett, Missouri

One brother: Jim Akers of Kennett, Missouri

Two grandchildren and four great grandchildren

Libby was preceded in death by her son: James Willett, three brothers, John, Bob and Wayne Akers and three sisters: Cleta Jones, Ruby Burton and Betty Porter.

Libby was of Kennett and passed away at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, February 7, 2021 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, February 8, 2021 at Calvary General Baptist Church in Kennett, Missouri. Reverend Chris Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Lonnie Willett, Daniel Boggs, Jason Garner, Barry Garner, Nick Boatwright and Brandon Garner. Kennett Fire Department will serve as Honorary pallbearers.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the arrangements.
