Edith Elaine George, daughter of the late Luther Bradshaw and Edith (Dye) Bradshaw, was born January 4, 1955, in Kennett, Missouri, and departed this life on November 19, 2023 at the age of 68 years 10 months and 15 days. Elaine married Walter George on October 15, 1971, in Holcomb, Missouri. Elaine was preceded by her loving husband of 49 years.

Elaine was a member of Calvary General Baptist Church in Kennett and was retired from Parker Hannifin Corp after 25 years.

Survivors include:

Daughter: Tamara Ann (Tim) Smith of Kennett, Mo.

Two grandchildren: Bo Smith and Gunner Smith

Great grandchildren: Tyson Smith and Adilyne Smith

Three brothers: Charles David Bradshaw

James Phyllip (Nina) Bradshaw

Luther Stephen (Shirley) Bradshaw

Other relatives and many friends.

Elaine was preceded in death by four brothers:  Vernell Scott Bradshaw, Alfred Glen Bradshaw, Luther Dale Bradshaw and Joe Wayne Bradshaw, three sisters: Shelvagene Bradshaw Miller, Jannie Sue Bradshaw Barker and Glenda Kay "Katie" Bradshaw Pounders.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral Services will be 12:00 noon at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Reverend Chris Kennedy and  Kim Hellebusch officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Jeremy "Ronnie" Bradshaw, David Kyle Bradshaw, Bryan Bradshaw, Danny Bradshaw, Phyllip Bradshaw, Jr. and Shane McElwrath. Honorary pallbearers; Ricky Miller, Robert Miller, Danny Vernon, Reggie George, Kim Hellebusch and Reece Lindley.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett was in charge of the arrangements.
